Terms of Service

Effective July 14, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Scrollingua app, website, content, subscriptions, and related services. By using Scrollingua, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and legally permitted to use the service. If you are below the age of majority where you live, use Scrollingua only with a parent or guardian’s permission. Keep your credentials secure, provide accurate information, and do not impersonate another person or share an account without permission.

Learning service

Scrollingua provides reels, captions, translations, dictionary information, lessons, reviews, speech practice, and related learning tools. These aids may be incomplete or inaccurate and do not guarantee fluency, certification, employment, school, travel, or immigration outcomes.

Acceptable social use

You may not harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, spam, discriminate, share illegal or sexually exploitative material, infringe rights, solicit sensitive information, evade blocks or moderation, scrape users, or interfere with the service. Do not share private information you do not have permission to disclose.

You keep ownership of content you create and give us a limited worldwide license to host, process, transmit, display, and moderate it only as needed to operate and protect the service. We may filter, restrict, preserve, or remove content; limit messaging; suspend accounts; and cooperate with lawful requests. Video clips and intellectual property

Video, audio, names, likenesses, music, and creator materials may belong to third parties. Scrollingua’s learning annotations, translations, software, design, and original materials belong to Scrollingua or its licensors. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use the service. Do not download, repost, redistribute, sell, sublicense, bypass technical restrictions, or commercially exploit content unless expressly authorized.

Rights holders may send a notice identifying themselves, the protected work, the specific Scrollingua clip or URL, their good-faith basis, accurate contact information, and authority to act to scrollingua.dev@gmail.com. We may remove or restrict material while reviewing a request.

Subscriptions

Prices, billing periods, trials, and included features appear before purchase and may vary by platform or country. Subscriptions are processed and automatically renewed by Apple, Google, or another marketplace unless cancelled through that marketplace before renewal. Deleting Scrollingua or your account does not cancel a subscription. Refunds and billing decisions are governed by the marketplace’s rules.

Prohibited technical use

Do not bypass subscriptions or limits, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits it, probe vulnerabilities, automate abusive requests, upload malicious code, compromise another account, or disrupt Scrollingua or its providers.

Third-party services

Scrollingua relies on services such as Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Meta, video/CDN, speech, translation, hosting, and messaging providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

Availability, termination, and changes

Features may change, become unavailable, or require internet access, a supported device, permissions, or a paid plan. You may stop using Scrollingua at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for violations, safety risk, legal exposure, or discontinuation. We may update these Terms and will update the effective date or provide notice where required.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Scrollingua is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, or a particular learning result. To that same extent, Scrollingua will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Scrollingua in the prior 12 months or USD $50. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
